Following a competitive tender, Clear Channel UK has retained the long term contract to supply, maintain and redevelop street furniture in Exeter.

Over the next three years, 177 bus shelters and six free-standing units will be replaced to greatly enhance the roadside advertising opportunities in the city.

Following a competitive tender, Clear Channel UK has retained the long term contract to supply, maintain and redevelop street furniture in Exeter. Over the next three years, 177 bus shelters and six free-standing units will be replaced to greatly enhance the roadside advertising opportunities in the city.

Clear Channel has been reappointed to transform advertising opportunities offering more flexibility and enhanced creative possibilities for clients and agencies. The new units will be a mixture of Universal aluminium and Landmark stainless steel shelters offering more than 270 advertising opportunities. The agreement also allows the installation of further universal aluminium shelters after 5 years.

Dave Huckerby, Adshel Development Director, Clear Channel UK, said: “With over 100,000 people living within a 45 minute catchment area, Exeter is a key contract for Clear Channel. With our experience of handling municipal contracts, we are excited to work with Exeter City Council to enhance their street furniture advertising offering.”
