Clear Channel joined forces with Outvertising, a not-for-profit, voluntary LGBTQ+ advertising advocacy group, and Brand Advance, to display artworks designed by the One Minute Briefs community, based on a brief set out earlier this year. The brief was to create posters that encourage the creative industry to be more inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community.
Running across our Billboard Live, Malls Live, and LGBTQ+ Socialite network nationwide, the thought-provoking creatives aim to generate a rallying call to the advertising industry and highlight the need and benefits of creating more LGBTQ+ inclusive advertising for both brands and society at large.
The featured artworks are also part of a shortlist for the 2020 Outvertising Awards that will take place on 17th September. The virtual event will celebrate the fantastic progress that has been made in LGBTQ+ inclusive advertising and seek to accelerate new ideas and opportunities that are yet to be made. The event is open to all and will be a vibrant mix of discussions, personal perspectives, and unexpected entertainment.
