A Platform for Good

Working with and for our Communities

We partner with a diverse range of organisations and campaigns that share our mission and values.

It’s more than just advertising…

A key part of being a Platform for Good is being an active participant and champion of the communities we serve by working on projects that go above and beyond our advertising estate.

Our infrastructure is in communities throughout the UK and is a very real and physical part of those communities, so it’s only right for us to give something back. For Clear Channel, we look to partner with organisations and campaigns that share our values to make a positive contribution to society.

02  Campaigns

Supporting Communities

We’re proud to share our platform with communities, partners, organisations, campaigns and people who are out there doing their own great things. It’s been a privilege to support so many amazing, impactful campaigns and promote causes that matter.

We’re a Silver Patron of The Prince's Trust and industry partner of Brixton Finishing School, two organisations truly empowering young people. We focus on supporting gender equality causes as well as Black and LGBTQ+ communities while shining a light on other societal themes and causes, including mental health, ageism, food poverty, disability and homelessness by amplifying the work of charities and social good organisations in these areas.

Creating debate

We worked with an artist in residence - Martin Firrell - to explore a range of challenging topics to deliver public artworks with the aim of driving conversation, social change and progressiveness.

The year-long project discussed taboo subjects such as fairness in society, gender, power and race.

Martin’s campaigns:

  • 01

    Power and Gender

  • 02

    Union City

  • 03

    Skin

  • 04

    Counter Culture

03  Giving Back

We’re investing in local communities through infrastructure and community investment funds alongside local authorities, as well as our own community projects and charitable commitments.

Through a collaboration with long-term partner Trees for Cities, in addition to 400 trees we’ve planted in cities to date, we installed Edible Playgrounds in schools to educate children on the benefits of healthy eating.

In a number of seaside towns, we proactively run beach cleaning projects, through back-to-work schemes, in a bid to reduce plastic and litter and provide employment to formerly homeless individuals. And we provide our people the freedom to volunteer to initiatives that share our values, such as the wonderful work of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean or through our Christmas charity partnerships.
