A Platform for Good

Doing the right thing is good for everyone

Everyone at Clear Channel is aware of the responsibility that we have towards society. We know that we can play a part in making our world a better place to live.

So as a company, we’ve publicly committed to being a Platform for Good. As we continue to innovate, we’re thinking beyond just advertising and asking how each and every display that we maintain and every contract we operate can help to support the public, the environment as well as other organisations working for good.

Being a Platform for Good. It’s in our DNA.

Sustainability & the Environment

We continue to reduce our environmental impacts and be more sustainable, not only for the future of our business, but for the future of the planet.

We have a long history of initiatives, innovation, partnerships and projects to reduce our environmental impact and carbon footprint. We are accelerating our journey to be Carbon Net Zero by 2030 (across Scope 1 & 2) and by 2045 (across Scope 3).

Our Commitment to Communities

We have a proud tradition of working on projects that go beyond just advertising and have a positive social impact in local communities.

We're a very physical part of the communities we are in, and we believe we have a responsibility to give something back to those communities.

In the six years Keep Britain Tidy have been a Clear Channel charity partner, we have seen the reach and impact of our campaigns go from strength to strength. Through their extensive network of sites, we see important environmental messages come to life at a scale we simply could not achieve without them. Clear Channel not only champion the environmental agenda by supporting us with ad space, but by acting as a true partner and using our initiatives and campaigns to engage and educate their staff.

Allison Ogden-Newton, CEO of Keep Britain Tidy

Our partnership with Clear Channel has included their invaluable support for our Crime Not Compliment campaign to make public sexual harassment a crime - support which has been instrumental to the campaign's success.

Clear Channel have really championed the cause over the past two years, providing us with advertising space to amplify the campaign to a national audience at critical moments. This has helped us reach and mobilise over half a million supporters across the UK who have joined us in calling for a new law.

We're excited to see how our Clear Channel partnership can further support the Crime Not Compliment campaign and our wider work at Plan International UK.

Gemma Day, Head of Media & Campaigns, Plan International UK

We are very proud of our 19 year partnership with Clear Channel. It has provided us with the opportunity to reach both our mass audience for essential fundraising but also more critically young people in need of our support, helping them be aware of our courses to give them the confidence and skills to gain employment. The partnership goes beyond the generous out of home advertising they kindly gift, it also includes joint projects to benefit young people and the opportunity for young artists supported by The Prince’s Trust to have their work showcased. Clear Channel provide The Prince’s Trust and young people a platform to show why young people need support and what they can achieve when they are given the opportunity, especially now.

Lou Duffy, Head of Brand and Marketing, The Prince's Trust

Historic England’s collaboration with Clear Channel has given incredible national reach to our Picturing High Streets campaign. We asked the public to photograph their local high streets and, in doing so, be in with a chance of their image featuring on Clear Channel's digital advertising space across England, and becoming part of Historic England’s Archive. The partnership with Clear Channel was a major driver for public participation and gave the campaign brilliant exposure nationwide, reaching millions of people around the UK.

Their involvement helped to elevate the project and connect with audiences we could not have otherwise reached and gave excellent brand recognition for Historic England and project partner Photoworks, as well as our wider funders. We hope to work together with Clear Channel on future campaigns.

Hannah Talbot, Head of Marketing, Historic England
