This month saw Clear Channel return to the annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Clear Channel has now sponsored the event for 9 years; the largest annual gathering for the creative and marketing communications, entertainment, design and tech industries. The festival also hosts the Outdoor Lions awards that rewards and celebrates great creativity in Out of Home.
This year Clear Channel’s central base for Cannes Lions was Le Jardin de Clear Channel. Based in the gardens of the Grand Hotel, the location was a fantastic place to hold client events, meetings, and panel discussions.
The festival was a huge success with Clear Channel receiving lots of great feedback on its various events and discussions. The first panel discussion held on the 19th June, featured Clear Channel UK’s very own Creative Director, Louise Stubbings, as well as other industry leaders from around the globe, and focused on the role of diversity within creative teams. Find out more here.
The second panel discussion on the 20th focused on the future of Out of Home and explored what the medium will look like in 2019 and beyond. Read more about the session here.
As well as these successful events, Clear Channel had lots of digital Out of Home campaigns running across the huge Le Grand screen on the roof of the Le Grand Hotel. This impressive screen, visible all over Cannes, was the perfect canvas to showcase some of our client’s best work as well as various charitable campaigns.
