Tendring District Council's most recent Out of Home campaign looked to raise awareness about summer safety in the local area.

During Covid-19 in particular this has been invaluable as our important public service messaging was needed to reinforce people’s safety during the pandemic." From BBQ binning, parking advice and beach safety awareness, Tendring District Council creatively used Out of Home to communicate a variety of local community safety campaigns. 

"The booking process is relatively simple, and in our most recent campaign which focused on summer safety we were able to select panels closest to our seafronts, as well as on primary routes into our resort towns." Will Lodge, Communications Manager at Tendring District Council. 

"We’re still working on the evaluation for that campaign – and with awareness raising it can be hard to determine effectiveness – but initial anecdotal evidence seems to suggest a relatively quiet summer in terms of incidents.
